A multi-jurisdictional national criminal database search is our fastest and most economical way to check aspects of an applicant’s identity as well as check over 650 million records to determine if the applicant has identity issues and/or criminal history you should be concerned about. It’s like ‘throwing a net’ over the U.S. (and around the world, to some degree) to see what you can catch.

For employment screening purposes, we recommend conducting criminal searches on the county level to obtain records that are complete and up to date. Any possible criminal records uncovered on the Crimechex Plus Criminal database will require research at the county level to verify the accuracy and completeness of the record. County criminal records searches are the most accurate and reliable source for complete and up-to-date criminal records searches. They are compliant with FCRA regulations for employment screening.
